"SvjatoslavІ believe that this eparchy is going to become one of the most dynamic out of all our eparchies around the world. And here, in the West of America, it will be able to melt the hearts of even those who, perhaps, have lost the connection with their Church, and could help a lot of people with different nationalities to newly reveal the presence of God among us. We have so much to tell the world". His Beatitude Sviatoslav, the Father and Head of the UGCC.

“CATECHISM OF UKRAINIAN SOLDIER”

We are extremely grateful for your ongoing support of Ukraine and the Ukrainian people. This time, your support of $2,000 was directed toward the much needed spiritual care of the Ukrainian soldiers on the front lines.

We received a request from Fr. Andriy Zelinskyy, a Chief military chaplain of the Ukrainian Greek-Catholic Church, to print and distribute among the Ukrainian soldiers 10,000 handbooks “Catechism of Ukrainian Soldier” which contain the main principles of Christian doctrine on the moral aspects of military service under the conditions of military aggression.

Fr. Andriy Zelinskyy has been serving in Ukraine as a military chaplain for over 10 years and has witnessed much. He believes that the most important thing in a war is to remain a human being.

Below is the link to the article about Fr. Andriy and his view of the war and the role of the church during the time of war.
