"SvjatoslavІ believe that this eparchy is going to become one of the most dynamic out of all our eparchies around the world. And here, in the West of America, it will be able to melt the hearts of even those who, perhaps, have lost the connection with their Church, and could help a lot of people with different nationalities to newly reveal the presence of God among us. We have so much to tell the world". His Beatitude Sviatoslav, the Father and Head of the UGCC.

First Graduation from the Mission Institute - 2023

On May 21, in our St. Nicholas Eparchy, an extraordinary event took place - the First Graduation from the Mission Institute.

His Eminence Bishop Benedict (Aleksiychuk), before the Hierarchical Divine Liturgy, at the St. Nicholas Cathedral, conferred Minor Orders.

The Ordination and Blessing of the Reader-Cantor and the Candle Bearer were received by the third year students of the Mission Institute, who were studying at the specialization of Deacon and Cantor.

After the Divine Liturgy, Bishop Benedict awarded Certificates of the Mission Institute and UCU to the graduates who defended their thesis this year and completed their studies.

Bishop urged the graduates to develop their talents through service in their parishes.

In conclusion, the graduates thanked Bishop Benedict and Fr. Roman Bobesiuk (Administrator of the Institute), for their constant support.
